Born in Norway to parents who emigrated from the Civil War in Sri Lanka, it’s hard not to be aware of the stark contrast in opportunities that one’s place of birth provides. As much I would like to believe that we live in a world where anyone can live out their full potential, the reality is a little different. Can we create a world where that's not the case? Back in 2015,  a couple of friends and I co-founded Young Sustainable Impact to give everyone globally an equal platform to create startups to solve the 17 UN SDGs. Today, I am working on a project to connect people to relevant opportunities that already exist out there. One day in the not-so-distant future, I believe we indeed can create a world where everyone can live out their dream- truly regardless of their place of birth.
